There are numerous forms of discrimination that, in the Italian context, affect migrants, both in the area of administrative detention, where countless human rights violations occur, in open contrast with the principles of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU, and in terms of access to criminal justice and the right to defense for foreign individuals under investigation, accused, or undergoing the criminal execution phase. Equally complex is the condition of foreign crime victims.
